The TV has Freeview built in and is also fitted with Google Chromecast.
You are able to watch any of the catch up players like BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, etc. plus services from Netflix or Now TV by ‘casting’ these from your own smartphone or other device once you are connected to our WiFi.
Simply tap the cast button at the top of the app you are using and select ‘Living Room’ from the options to watch your chosen film or programme on the TV.
You can ask Google to play music over the speaker in the living room and on the mini speaker in the main bedroom. For example you can say "Hey Google, play Isle Of Wight Radio." You can cast your own music from your phone to the speaker by tapping the cast button in your music app. Adjust the volume by saying "Hey Google, turn it up/down" or by running your finger in a circular motion on the top of the speaker. There are books, DVDs and games in the house that you are welcome to use.
In the rear porch there is beach equipment for your use which includes:
Two camping chairs
Bucket and spades
Beach tent
Coolbox - ice packs are in the freezer
